Whenever a student joins the GMRC Youth team, the parents automatically become members of the GMRC Youth Boosters. The very active Booster Committee helps to implement the youth team’s plans. Without the considerable support of parents, GMRC youth team would not be able to operate.

Pitch In

There are many ways you can help out. The boosters help maintain contacts within the local schools, arrange carpools to practice and regattas, assure all the rowers are fed between races, chaperone the trips, and a plethora of other tasks as necessary.

Executive Committee

Appointments to the committee are held in June for the next year's positions. There is no limit to the number of terms that an individual can serve on the board. The Committee meets several times throughout the year. If you are interested in serving on the Committee, please contact the Booster Committee President.

FUNDRAISING OPPORTUNITIES

The Great Miami Rowing Center relies on fundraising to cover operating costs. Our goal is to schedule two fundraisers each year through the Booster Club to support GMRC in and at the waters edge. If everyone pitches in a little bit of time, we can achieve our goals.

ATP Tennis Tournament
Come out and see some high caliber tennis at the ATP Tennis Tournament, while earning money for the Great Miami Rowing Center. Each date requires the 15-25 athletes, parents, siblings, friends, alumni, etc.

Please mark your calendars and try to prioritize these dates to raise some funds for GMRC. Sign up for as many dates as you can during the sections we've signed up for.
