Mark your calendar and study up! GMRC is hitting the books for our first ever trivia night! Answer general knowledge questions for a chance to win a basket full of fun goodies for the entire team!
The Team
Each team consists of up to 4 players with one desiganted as the Team Captain. This person serves as the communicator between the judges and the team. Additionally, each team will come up with an exciting team name (and perhaps a mascot and fight song, if you're tenacious enough).
Please know that this is a fundraiser, so if there are 5 friends who want to play, you will have to split into 2 separate teams.
The Game
There will be 6 rounds and each round will consist of sevaral questions from general knowledge categories. Each team will have several minutes to come up with their answers and write it on their answer sheet. After each round the team captain will bring the answer sheet to the judges for scoring.
Bonus Questions
Between rounds there will be ample time to replenish sustinence and answer the Bonus Question! These questions are for additional points and may be a little bit harder.
The Final Round
The last round will consist of one question, for which each team can wager points. The team with the most points after the final round will be deemed the winners of GMRC Trivia Night!
Registration
Registration will be done on a first come-first served basis and we will take as many teams as the venue can accomodate. Registration will also be available at the door for the late comers. Please keep in mind that teams can be no more than 4 players.
