Fundraising

In their first year as an established rowing program, the Miami University- Hamilton rowing team is hosting a 'rent a rower' fundraiser. The Rent-a-Rower program is not only a fundraiser, but also a useful tool for team building and unity. Click here to download our order form.

What is Rent-a-Rower?
RAR is a fundraising program where you can hire MUH rowers to complete everyday projects including yard work, painting, moving...etc.

What is the purpose of Rent-a-Rower?
To raise funds to purchase new equipment for the team. Rowing is an equipment intensive sport and as our team grows, so does our need for equipment. The funds raised through Rent-a-Rower will allow us to get more athletes on the water at the same time.

"Rented" rowers could be used for:

  • Yard work
  • Moving furniture
  • Snow removal
  • Cleaning gutters
  • Moving
  • House/Pet sitting
  • Pet care
  • Heavy lifting
  • Garage cleaning
  • Bartending
  • Painting
  • Chauffeur
  • Babysitting
  • Office assistants
  • Spring cleaning
  • Organizing

Cost: $15/hour per athlete (2 hour minimum) with guaranteed satisfaction

Checks can be payable to the: Great Miami Rowing Center
